THESSALY, Pharkadon. Circa 440-400 BC. AR Hemidrachm (16mm, 2.50 g, 3h). Hero (Thessalos?), petasos and cloak tied at neck, holding band around head of forepart of bull right / Φ-Α-Ρ-[Κ]-ΑΔΟ, forepart of horse right within incuse square. BCD Thessaly I 1268 (same obv. die); BCD Thessaly II 616.1 (same obv. die); HGC 4, 292. VF, deeply toned, some porosity.
