PADUAN MEDALS. Julius Caesar. 100-44 BC. Cast Æ Medal (36mm, 22.09 g, 12h). After Giovanni da Cavino, 1500-1570. Laureate head of Julius Caesar left; star before forehead, lituus behind / VENI/VIDI/VICI within wreath. Johnson & Martini 1260 (example also with hole for suspension); Klawans 1. Good VF, warm brown patina, holed for suspension. An attractive early cast.
