ITALY. Divus Julius. Died 44 BC. Cast Æ Medal (43mm, 43.47 g, 12h). Manufactured circa 18th-19th centuries. Laureate and draped bust of Divus Julius; lituus to left, star to right / Rudder, cornucopia on globe, winged caduceus, and flamen’s cap. Cf. Crawford 494/39b (for rev.). VF, earthen green and brown patina.
