IONIA, Erythrai. Circa 550-500 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (10mm, 2.63 g). Head of Herakles left, wearing lion skin / Rough incuse square. Cf. SNG Kayhan 737–8 (later style); cf. SNG von Aulock 1942 (later style); SNG Copenhagen –; Boston MFA 1804. Good VF. Very rare issue with early archaic style and rough incuse punch.
