Gold finger ring with agate gemstone. Roman, 2nd-3rd centuries AD. Band widens at shoulders and is fluted at sides. Shield decorated with a volute pattern to either side of an unengraved, banded agate stone.
Maximum interior diameter: 16mm; weight: 4.82g. Hollow band is bent and punctured in a few areas. Stone reset with glue.
