Gold finger ring with agate gemstone. Roman, 2nd-3rd centuries AD. Massive ring with fluted band widening at the shoulders. Oval shield inlaid with a large, unengraved orange and pink agate gemstone.
Maximum interior diameter: 19mm; weight: 10.85g. Light earthen deposits and a few minor dents on band. Impressive.
