2nd Intermediate Period. Circa 1650-1550 BC. Steatite scarab with partial blue glaze (17x12mm). Face inscribed with double papyrus roll, symbolizing eternal youth and prosperity, surrounded by a linear swirl-pattern. Chipped at top of face. Pierced.
