New Kingdom. Circa 1550-1070 BC. Grey stone baboon amulet (45mm). Crudely carved baboon with hands raised and left leg drawn slightly forward. Back with an incised cross-hatch pattern. Broken at waist and repaired. Left arm now missing. Cf. Petrie pl XXXVII, 204b.
