THESSALY, Proerna. Late 4th-early 3rd centuries BC. Æ Dichalkon (21mm, 7.87 g, 1h). Head of nymph facing slightly right / ΠΡΩΕΡ-ΝΙΩΝ, Demeter standing facing, holding torch and grain ears; monogram to inner left. Cf. Rogers 534; BCD Thessaly I 1328; cf. BCD Thessaly II 719; HGC 4, 27. Near VF, dark green patina, some roughness. Very rare.
