IONIA, Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Circa 150-140 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31mm, 16.81 g, 12h). Stephanophoric type. Erasippos, son of Aristeos, “magistrate”. Diademed and draped bust of Artemis right, bow and quiver over shoulder / Apollo Delphios standing left, resting on tall tripod to right, holding branch tied with fillet; EPAΣIΠΠOΣ APIΣTEOY in two lines to left, meander pattern below; all within laurel wreath. Jones – (unlisted dies); SNG von Aulock 2042; SNG Copenhagen –; SNG Berry 1067. Good VF, toned.
