PHOENICIA, Arados. Circa 246/5-168/7 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 16.83 g, 1h). In the name and types of Alexander III. Uncertain date, but probably CY 58 (202/1 BC). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; palm tree in left field, AP monogram (civic monogram) below throne, [date in exergue]. Cf. Duyrat 1249-55 (obv die D26); cf. Price 3386-7; DCA 771. VF, toned, scratches and marks beneath toning.
