KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Drachm (19mm, 4.13 g, 11h). Mytilene mint. Struck circa 294-290 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear behind; [kithara to outer left], ME monogram in exergue. Thompson 138 var. (placement of control marks); Müller –; Gorny & Mosch 204, lot 1236 (same dies). VF, toned, some porosity. Very rare.
