SCOTLAND. David II. 1329-1371. AR Halfgroat (22.5mm, 2.05 g, 3h). Second coinage (Stewart group C1). Edinburgh mint. Struck 1357-1367. Crowned bust left; scepter to left; all within double polylobe / Long cross pattée, with voided five-pointed mullet in each angle. Burns 14 (fig. 290) var. (small D in 1st quarter of rev.); SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian) 398; SCBC 5100. VF, toned, small edge split and a little ragged.
