LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 290-280 BC. AR Nomos (20.5mm, 7.73 g, 1h). Head of Persephone right, wearing grain ear wreath; ΔI to left / Barley ear with leaf to right; ant to left; cornucopia surmounted by two ears of barley above leaf, ΦΙ below leaf. Johnston Class D, 4; HN Italy 1624. EF, toned, a couple scuffs and die break on obverse.
