Charioteer driving fast quadriga left; above, Nike flying right, crowning charioteer with wreath; broken chariot wheel below; in exergue, grain ear left / Head of Arethousa left, hair in ornate ampyx, wearing triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; below, head of satyr right. Cf. Head, Guide, Period II.B., 34-8; cf. BMC 219 (for prototype). As made, attractively toned. Incuse R on edge.
