LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 400-340 BC. AR Nomos (21mm, 7.57 g, 2h). Head of Demeter right, wearing fillet; [retrograde K to left] / Barley ear with six grains and leaf to right; MET[A] to left, grasshopper above leaf. Noe 404; HN Italy 1515; SNG ANS 319; SNG Lloyd 337; SNG München 958; De Sartiges 35; McClean 930 (all from the same dies). EF, toned, a little porosity and die wear, minor cleaning marks under tone. Rare.
