SICILY, Selinos. Circa 540-515 BC. AR Didrachm (21mm, 9.01 g). Selinon leaf; two pellets flanking stem / Incuse square divided into ten sections. Arnold-Biucchi Group I, 3 var. (no pellets); Selinus Hoard 18 (same obv. die); HGC 2, 1209; SNG ANS 667; SNG Lloyd –; Dewing –; Pozzi 1180; Rizzo –. EF, lightly toned, underlying luster, slightly weak strike. Good metal for issue.
