Diademed head right / Zeus Stephanophoros standing left; to inner left, eagle standing left on thunderbolt above monogram above OP (date). Callataÿ p. 53, dies D2/R– (unlisted rev. die); RG 40; HGC 6, 645; DCA 444; SNG Lockett 2684 = Pozzi 2150; W. Wroth, “Greek Coins Acquired by the British Museum in 1897” in
NC 1898, 16 (same obv. die). Good VF, toned. Very rare date, only six recorded by Callataÿ, three in CoinArchives (including this piece).
