LICINIVS AVGVSTVS, laureate head right / IOVI CONS LICINI AVG, Jupiter standing facing on platform, head left, holding scepter with left hand and crowning Victory on globe in right hand; at feet to left, eagle, standing left, head right with wreath in beak; platform inscribed with SIC X/SIC XX in two lines; SMN∆ in exergue. The votive augmentations, later to appear with more regularity during the issues of the family of Constantine, refer to the hope that the emperor would enjoy a prosperous 10 years of rule, a decennalia, followed by that of 20 years, a vicennalia.
