ΛED IL·H EΛR D ΛR around pelleted circle, with cruciform arms, containing barred EP / + CE ENV LF RE X/(barred Mercian m) V · in two lines around the angles of a two-lined tribrach moline. Cf. Naismith C22.3 (for rev. type); SCBI –; BMC –; cf. North 233 (for rev. type); SCBC 886 (this coin illustrated). VF, small edge split. The only known example with this obverse type.
