SAMARIA, “Middle Levantine” Series. Circa 375-333 BC. AR Hemiobol (8.5mm, 0.39 g, 6h). Dated year 14 of an uncertain era. Figure wearing Persian dress seated right, holding arrow; date (in Phoenician) to left, [bow to right] / Persian hero fighting bull; pellet-in-annulet between. Cf. Meshorer & Qedar 5 (obol); cf. Sofaer 96–8. Near VF, toned, off center. Apparently unrecorded as a hemiobol.
