Julia Domna. Augusta, AD 193-217. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.01 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Septimius Severus, circa AD 193-196. Draped bust right / Venus Victrix standing right, seen from behind, resting elbow on column and holding palm frond and apple. RIC IV 536 (Septimius); RSC 194. Near EF, dark cabinet toning, some cleaning marks under tone on obverse. Includes an old collection ticket.
