THESSALY, Gyrton. Early-mid 4th century BC. Æ Dichalkon (16mm, 3.40 g, 5h). Bare head of the hero Gyrton right, beside head of neck of bridled horse right / ΓYPTΩNIΩ[N], head of the nymph Gyrtone left, wearing earring and necklace. Cf. Rogers 228; BCD Thessaly I 1052; BCD Thessaly II 78 var. (Os in place of Ωs); HGC 4, 370 var. (same). Good VF, green patina. Well struck for issue.
