Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.72 g, 6h). Uncertain Spanish mint (Colonia Patricia?). Struck 17-16 BC. Bare head right / Triumphal arch on viaduct, surmounted by Augustus, driving quadriga of horses right; Victory standing behind Augustus, crowning him; to left and right of arches a rostrum. RIC I 144; RSC 233. VF, toned, bankers’ marks on obverse, short hairline flan crack.
