IONIA, Ephesos. Circa 340-325 BC. AR Oktobol (16.5mm, 4.96 g, 11h). All..., magistrate. Draped bust of Aremis right, wearing stephanos; bow and quiver over shoulder / Forepart of stag right, head left; palm tree to left, bee to inner right, AΛΛ[...] to outer right. SNG Kayhan 249–76 var. (magistrate); SNG von Aulock –; SNG Copenhagen –; SNG München –. Near EF, toned, slightly off center on reverse. Exceptional for issue, and unpublished with this magistrate.

Although no magistrate whose name begins AΛΛ– is known for this issue, a magistrate AΛΛYΣ is known at Ephesos in the first century (cf. SNG München 94).
