THESSALY, Larissa Kremaste. Circa 302-286 BC. Æ Chalkous (13mm, 1.68 g, 12h). Wreathed head of nymph left; [I-Π] flanking neck / Harpa; ΛAP upward to right; all within olive wreath tying below. Rogers 319; BCD Thessaly II 405.1; HGC 4, 17. VF, green patina, lightly chipped around edge.

From the BCD Collection.

A note from the Triton catalog: It is rather unusual to see a nymph with a wreath in her hair but perhaps this one is rather special to the city. Her name starts with IΠ, and Hippodameia would be one of the several possible names that would fit the bill.
