Bookplate of the prior owner – Douglas-Hamilton, Duke of Hamilton – on inside of front cover. The very rare Numismata Antiqua Familiarum Romanarum plates were included in few sets of this important work and are supplemented with contemporary printed copies of handwritten attributions.
