Faience necklace. Egypt, Third Intermediate Period, 1070-664 BC. A restrung necklace with blue seed beads, small
wedjet (Eye of Horus) beads, and a central, quadruple
wedjet (14.8cm; diameter of central amulet: 20mm). Cf. Petrie,
Amulets pl. XXIV, 139f (for Eye of Horus beads) and 140g (for central amulet).

Acquired from Sayyid (Sayed) Molattam, a well-known, Luxor-based antiquities dealer from whom Devries purchased many of his pieces.
