Terracotta funerary cone of Ibi, son of Ankhhor. Egypt, 18th-26th Dynasties, circa 1523-525 BC. Outer end with a fragmentary portion of the following inscription: “Heriditary prince, count, chancellor of the king of Lower Egypt, beloved sole companion, king’s acquaintance, great steward of the god’s wife, Ibi, son of the god’s father beloved of the god, Ankhhor, true of voice.” Dimensions: 9.2x7.5cm. Broken, but remaining portion of text with good detail. Tail missing. Dibley & Lipkin 450.
