Faience ushabti. Egypt, Late Period, 664-332 BC. Mummiform ushabti with headdress and false beard, holding a pick and hoe. Satchel present at rear left shoulder, long bar on back. The frontal text, arranged in a single line, reads:
sHD wsir dj-swjr (“illuminate the Osiris, Diusir” or “he whom Osiris gives”).
Height: 11.4cm. Areas of surface pitting and brown discoloration. Intact.
