Blue glazed steatite scarab. Egypt, Second Intermediate Period, 1650-1550 BC. Face engraved with a meaningless inscription, perhaps a scribal error (23x16mm). Pierced. Scattered chips and some encrustation.
From the Carl Devries Collection.
