SICILY, Syracuse. Hieron I. 478-466 BC. AR Tetradrachm (23.5mm, 17.60 g, 7h). Struck circa 475-470 BC. Charioteer driving quadriga right; above, Nike flying right, crowning horses / Diademed head of Arethousa right; four dolphins around. Boehringer Series XIIb, 314 (V152/R220); HGC 2, 1307; Jameson 746 (same dies). Good VF, attractively toned, slightly off center on obverse.
