Trajan. AD 98-117. Æ Sestertius (36mm, 26.55 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 116-117. Laureate bust right, wearing aegis / Providentia standing left, holding scepter and leaning on draped column, pointing to globe at feet to left. RIC II 663 var. (obv. bust type); Woytek 591t; Banti 88. VF, attractive dark green and brown patina, a few minor spots of roughness, some minor smoothing. Rare bust type, Woytek lists only four specimens.
