Justin II. 565-578. Fourrée Solidus (22mm, 3.57 g, 6h). Contemporary imitation(?). Constantinople mint, uncertain officina. Struck 567-578(?). Helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, holding crowning Victory on globus and shield / Constantinopolis seated facing on throne, head right, holding scepter and globus cruciger; ΙΛ//CONOB. Cf. DOC 4; cf. MIBE 5; cf. SB 345. VF, scratches, double struck, plating broken in spots. The officina (ΙΛ) is nonsensical, and probably indicates that this is a contemporary forgery.
