Theodore Comnenus-Ducas. As emperor of Thessalonica, 1225/7-1230. BI Trachy (23mm, 2.82 g, 6h). Thessalonica mint. Christ Pantokrator enthroned facing / Theodore, holding [cruciform scepter] and akakia, standing facing and being crowned by St. Demetrius, who is holding a [sheathed sword]. DOC 5 (type B); SB 2162. Good VF, dark brown patina with touches of green, flan crack, struck on an irregular flan.
