THESSALY, Trikka. Circa 440-400 BC. AR Hemidrachm (16mm, 2.89 g, 9h). Thessalos, nude but for chlamys and petasos, holding band around the horns of a forepart of bull right / TP-IK-K-A-ION (partially retrograde), forepart of bridled horse right; all within incuse square with rounded corners. BCD Thessaly II 775.3; HGC 4, 311. VF, lightly toned. Nice metal.
