JUDAEA, Herodians. Herod IV Philip, with Tiberius. 4 BCE-34 CE. Æ (18mm, 5.52 g, 12h). Caesarea Philippi (Panias) mint. Dated RY 37(?) of Herod Philip (33/4 CE). Laureate head of Tiberius right; [branch?] before / Tetrastyle temple (the Augusteum of Panias); L Λ [Z?] (date) between columns. Cf. Hendin 1233. Fine, earthen brown patina, roughness.

The date is uncertain, with a die break at the “Λ” giving it the appearance of a “Δ.” The date could simply be L Λ (year 30), but the double pediment design is more consistent with coins of year 37.
