SICILY, Himera. Circa 440-430/25 BC. AR Tetradrachm (24.5mm, 17.24 g, 1h). The nymph Himera, holding kentron and reins, driving slow quadriga left; above, Nike flying right, crowning her with open wreath; in exergue, cock standing left within [I]MEP-AION / Himera standing facing, head left, holding patera over altar to left; to upper right, barley grain; to lower right, satyr bathing in fountain with lion-headed spout.
