Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left on throne without back; aphlaston in left field. Price 861a. EF, lightly toned, off center strike.

Price’s issue 861 actually comprises a number of varieties. The plate coin 861a has no throne back and an aphlaston facing left, while 861b has a throne back and an aphlaston facing right.
