IONIA, Ephesos. Circa 180-67 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 12.66 g, 12h). Cistophoric standard. Struck circa 150–140 BC. Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath / Bow case with serpents; to left, bee above EΦE; coiled serpent on cista to right. Kleiner & Noe Series 28, obv. die 39; SNG Copenhagen –; SNG von Aulock 7837 (same obv. die). VF, lightly toned, a few light marks. Well centered.
