Claudius. AD 41-54. AR Denarius (20mm, 3.73 g, 3h). Rome mint. Laureate head right / Pax-Nemesis advancing right, holding out fold of drapery below chin, and holding winged caduceus, pointing down at erect snake, gliding right. Cf. RIC I 10, 22, 28, 39, 47, 52, 58 or 62; von Kaenel Type 44; cf. RSC 53-68. VF, toned, flatly struck in areas. Good metal.
