ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (35mm, 16.35 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Ktesi– and Euma–, magistrates. Struck circa 139/8 BC. Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names in fields; to right, Nike advancing right, holding wreath; K on amphora, EY below; all within wreath. Cf. Thompson 274f (same obv. die); HGC 4, 1602. Fine, toned, struck with worn dies, edge chipped.
