EGYPT, Alexandria. Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ Obol (18mm, 5.26 g, 12h). Dated RY 10 (AD 125/126). Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Two clasped right hands holding grain ears; L ∆ E (date) below. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) –; K&G –; RPC III 5612; Emmett 1160 (RY 10 not listed). Fine, dark green and brown patina with earthen highlights/deposits. Extremely rare. RPC records two examples: the ANS collection, and one sold by Antioch Associates (Dr. Henry Lindgren). Emmett gives the type only for year 8 (RPC III 5473).
