From the Andrew McCabe Collection. Ex Artemide Aste XXIX (26 June 2010), lot 158.

This small and anomalous uncia issue is known from only one die pair; by size, weight, and style it corresponds with the generally overstruck Sardinian or Sicilian half weight (one sixteenth ounce standard) emergency issues in the middle of the Second Punic War. [Andrew McCabe]
