The Triumvirs. Mark Antony. Autumn 32-spring 31 BC. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.95 g, 10h). Legionary issue. Patrae(?) mint. Praetorian galley right / Aquila between two signa; LEG IIII across lower field. Crawford 544/16; CRI 353; Sydenham 1220; RSC 29; Type as RBW –. VF, toned, banker’s mark on the obverse, flatly struck in areas. Extremely rare.

An extremely rare legionary issue. Missing from the RBW collection. Missing from the Delos hoard, along with other first degree rarities of the legionary series, PRI (?–if exists), IIX, and XVIIII.
