Ex Llanddona (Anglesey) Hoard, 1999-2006.

The Llanddona hoard was a remarkable find of nearly 1000 coins, recovered by metal detectorists who scoured the beach at Llanddona between 1999 and 2006. The first report of the hoard was published in the BNJ: E. Besly, "A Fourteenth Century Hoard from LLanddona, Anglesey" in BNJ 72 (2002), pp. 169–71. Most, if not all, of the coins were subsequently sold on the market.
