Gold crescent pendant. Greek, Hellenistic Period, circa late 4th-3rd centuries BC. A crescent pendant with finely executed filigree work. The central plaque carries an intricate palmette and vine motif, overlaid with three small plates each representing a standing figure with raised hand. Two flowers adorn the tips of the piece, with each terminating in a bunch of grapes. A large loop is attached at the top for suspension.
Dimensions: 44x40mm; weight: 10.07g. A few scratches. Well-preserved and attractive.
