Berteiscus, moneyer. + IBILLA CO VICO, diademed and draped bust right / + BERTEI(horizontal retrograde S)CV(horizontal retrograde S) MONC, Greek cross pommée; C Λ across field below crossbar. NM 1 = Belfort 860 & 2031 = Charles Robert, “Monnaies mérovingiennes,” RN 8 (1863), 6 (this coin, illustrated); Prou –; MEC 1, –. EF, toned. Apparently unique, the only example known to Depeyrot.
