HANOVER. George III. 1760-1820. Pattern AV Guinea (23mm, 12h). Early coinage, ‘Military’ type. Tower (London) mint. Dies by L. Pingo, after model by N. Marchant. Dated 1813. GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA, laureate head right / BRITANNIARUM REX FIDEI DEFENSOR, crowned coat-of-arms within garter; 18 13 below. W&R 115. In PCGS encapsulation PR 63 CAM. Of the highest rarity and with an excellent provenance.
