LANCASTER. Henry VI. First reign, 1422-1461. AV Noble (33mm, 6.74 g, 11h). Continental imitation of an Annulet issue, Group 1a. Henry standing facing in ship, holding sword and shield; annulet to left of hand / Cross fleurée over voided short cross potent; at center, Һ within quatrefoil; in each angle, crown above lion passant; all within double polylobe; annulet in one spandrel, trefoils in otherss; lis as initial mark. Schneider 829 (same rev. die); cf. North 1414 (for prototype); SCBC 1801. VF, lightly toned, some weakness of strike.
